Kelly Brook previously revealed the rather brutal nickname her husband Jeremy Parisi called her, following her weight gain.
The married couple – who are back on screens for an episode of Celebrity Race Across the World today (September 4) – have been together since 2015.
However, back in 2019, Kelly shared how her Italian hubby called her a “balloon” after she used the term to describe herself.

Speaking on Heart Radio, Kelly revealed they had both “piled on the pounds” after tucking into pies and pints of Guinness at their local pub.
“What happened was – I had been living in the countryside for the past few years with Jeremy, my boyfriend, and you know we just got into English life, going to the pub, having a pint of Guinness and nice pies,” she said.

Kelly continued: “Over time, I was putting on the pounds and not really noticing, I was just wearing baggier clothes until one day I came in, bear in mind my boyfriend’s French so his English is a little limited.
“And I said: ‘Oh Jeremy I feel like a balloon’ and he went: ‘Oh come here you little balloon.’ And so he got the word from me, I don’t even think he knew what a balloon was.”

Once Kelly shared the savage nickname, Jeremy was met with criticism from Kelly’s fans. But Kelly was quick to insist he said the word “balloon” because she said it first.
Speaking to Fabulous later on, she said: “My boyfriend said I looked like a little balloon, it wasn’t just trolls it was him as well.”

And talking to Heart, Kelly admitted she felt like she had “stitched him up a bit” by revealing the nickname.
The model explained: “Actually it’s not even his word it’s what I call myself. But he has been calling me his little balloon ever since. So it was a really cute thing that’s now turned into this whole controversy.
“Everyone’s saying I should dump him, get rid of him. I’m like: ‘Oh my god poor Jeremy.'”
