Kerry Katona has retweeted a poignant message from her daughter Lilly-Sue, which stated the singer put herself on the line for her late ex-husband.
Kerry and her family received the tragic news that George Kay passed away last week.
Her daughter Lilly-Sue, 16, has spoken out after a tweet from organisation Father’s4Justice claimed Kerry ‘refused George access’ to their daughter Dylan-Jorge.
The teenager passionately defended her grieving mother and revealed Kerry “put her neck on the line for that man on countless occasions when no decent human would”.
Lilly wrote on Twitter: “@F4JOfficial I find your tweets repulsive and insensitive. You must remind yourself he had kids who are at an age that use social media. You did not know George like we did and to have the audacity to speak of my mother who put her neck on the line for that man on countless…”
She continued in a second tweet: “occasions when no decent human would is vile. We’re in mourning and people like you are poisonous. Using death for your own gain and to increase your following is disgusting. I’m sending love and light your way as it is clearly needed.

Kerry, who split with George in 2017, then retweeted Lilly-Sue’s message.

Ent Daily has contacted Kerry’s representative for comment.
It comes after the Atomic Kitten star’s eldest daughter Molly spoke out against Father’s4Justice’s tweet earlier this week.

Former rugby player George died of a reported drug overdose last week.
Kerry, 38, married George in 2014 but they split in October 2015, after 11 months together.
Kerry and George gave it another go but they split again in 2017.
It was reported that Kerry travelled 250 miles to comfort George’s parents in Warrington following his death.
