Kerry Katona has called out negative commenters and online trolls in a brutally honest Instagram post.
The former Atomic Kitten singer, 39, posted a series of bikini snaps followed by screenshots of negative online comments.
They were accompanied by a heartfelt plea to stop trolling and body shaming.
Kerry wrote: “Name and shame!!!! People do not realise that others have gone as far as to take their own life over online trolling!! Wake up people!! We need to stand together to make this stop!

“Especially for the next generation technology is the future social media will always be there. Our children will have to deal with this no matter what! Be kind to each other! This is not acceptable!”
She went on to call for such behaviour to be recognised in law as a criminal offence and claimed suicide rates have increased due to social media.

Many of Kerry’s followers commented in support of the mum of four, including her daughter Heidi.
Heidi said: “These people should feel ashamed that her 12 year old daughter is standing up because adults are sat behind there phones screens and typing horrible things because they have nothing better to do with there lives.”
Another person advised: “Don’t give these vile humans the time of day babe ❤️”
Among the dozens of fans that contributed, one wrote: “Disgusting this needs to be a CRIMINAL OFFENCE.”
Another asked: “What gives people the right to be so mean? I love following you on Instagram because you come across as a lovely down to earth, caring, funny and beautiful person!”
And a third: “You’re a funny, gorgeous individual. Bullies only hate because they are jealous of what you have.”
Kerry’s post comes just days after Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson’s heartbreaking BBC documentary Odd One Out aired.
Jesy revealed she had tried to kill herself after reading negative comments about her online.
