Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona has embarrassed her eldest daughter Molly in a hilarious exchange on social media.
Kerry, 38, sounded every bit the proud mum as she took to Instagram to let her 496k followers know that daughter Molly, 18, had finally been granted the coveted blue ‘famous person’ tick.
She shared a screenshot of Molly’s Instagram page and wrote: “Awww my little baby girl has only gone and got a blue tick.

She added: “Go give her a follow.”
But it appears the post left Molly red faced, as the teenager wrote in the comments, “Lol why are you like this?” alongside crying-laughing and heart emojis.
Kerry then told her: “It’s my legal right as your mother to embarrass you.”
But Molly didn’t let it end there, quipping: “Weirdo.”
Kerry, clearly happy to maintain the embarrassing-mum vibes, joked: “That’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me in 18 years.”
Kerry has five children – Molly, 18, and Lilly-Sue, 16, both with former Westlife singer Brian McFadden; Heidi, 12, and son Maxwell, 11, with ex Mark Croft; and daughter Dylan-Jorge, five, with her late ex George Kay.
Last month, the star confirmed she is in a relationship with her former boyfriend Ryan Mahoney and said she is in “love”.

The Whole Again singer was rumoured to be back with Ryan after photos emerged of them kissing and canoodling on vacation in Thailand.
Kerry revealed the pair are in a “settled” relationship and she couldn’t be happier, praising Ryan for being a huge support to her and the kids following the shock death of George Kay from a drugs overdose in July.

Writing in her column for New! magazine, she said: “So the cat’s out of the bag – yes I’m with Ryan Mahoney, and yes, I’m very happy.
“We’re currently at the Chi Residence in Thailand with the kids, on my first holiday in three years, and we’re having a wonderful times… He’s been a good friend to me over the past few months we just decided to give it a go.”
Writing further, she said Ryan had been a “godsend”, adding: “We’re settled, committed, my kids love him and so do I.”
