Kerry Katona’s new man Scottish comedian James English has spoken out about his romance with the star after they went public last month.
During an appearance on a Scottish late night chat show on Thursday James certainly didn’t hold back when talking about Kerry, 37, and apparently even joked that he’s just using her for fame.
In the jaw-dropping and rather bizarre interview James, 33, said their relationship is just “a bit of causal sex” but admitted he’s “in love” with the “[bleep] up” star.

Host Ewen Cameron asked former rugby star James about their sex life to which James joked: “It’s a good thing we’ve got – a bit of casual sex. That’s all it is.”
Dropping his jokey act James added: “It’s a tough question but I think it was both the gags and the abs that attracted Kerry… It’s love, yes I’m in love with her.”
But it wasn’t long before his cocky attitude came into play again as The Sun reports he said: “For her it was an instant attraction probably but for me it took a while. I’m only kidding. She’s a beautiful looking woman.”
He apparently added: “She’s more famous than me. I’m living on the back of her. I’m just using her just now to get somewhere.
“I think she’s in her 40s, she’s 37 actually and she has got herself a toy boy – can you blame her? She is happy of course. Have you seen the photo of me? It’s still early days.”
Managing to squeeze a few compliments in James described mum-of-five Kerry as an “amazing mother”.
“Kerry has helped me very well in coming clean. She’s had addictions. She’s a bit [bleep] up as well. For me that’s the attraction. That shows strength for me,” he added.
“She might have her bad points but she’s an amazing mother and has been in the industry for twelve years and is still going strong.”
Kerry’s new romance comes shortly after her split from third hubby George Kay.
Kezza and George went their separate ways following a string of rows and shocking accusations they made against each other.
More recently George hit out at ex Kerry claiming she was cheating on him with new beau James, which Kerry strongly denies.

In a series of explosive claims, in an interview with New! magazine, George claimed Kerry and James were having an affair during their marriage.
He said: “I think they were seeing each other while we were together.
“Yes we had our problems but towards the end of our relationship there was someone contacting her called James. He was calling and messaging her at night when we were in bed.”
But her rep has since slammed George’s allegations by saying: “The unfaithful stuff is just untrue and if he’s telling you she was meeting James behind his back or romancing him, I know categorically the date they first met because it was at a gig they met and it was after they separated, so that is a bunch of lies.”
