Trump grew up in Jamaica Estates in Queens and was the fourth of five children of Mary Anne, a homemaker and philanthropist, and Fred, who was a real estate developer. He later became one of the city’s biggest real estate developers. His father lived in the same house on Midland Parkway, up until his death in 1999. Donald now generally splits his time between his homes in Bedford, NY, Palm Beach and Manhattan but says that nothing can top Trump Tower.
