Eighties popstar Kim Wilde has recalled a supernatural sighting in her own back garden.
The 57-year-old revealed to Attitude magazine that she’d spotted something with “massive lights” hovering above her house nine years ago.
She said: “There were a couple of massive lights just above the clouds, going backwards and forwards in an extraordinary way.
“Quite a lot of people witnessed them, it made the local papers.”
Kim, who has sold over 10 million albums, went on to joke: “I’m worried they’re going to come back and take me away.
“I said to my husband that maybe the captain was a big Kim Wilde fan and wanted to know where I live.

“I’m worried he’s going to beam me up and I’ll have to sing Kids in America to him for the rest of my life.”
Kim has named her forthcoming tour, Here Come The Aliens – a coincidence?!
The singer will embark on a 19-date tour across the UK in April to coincide with the release of her 14th studio album, also called, Here Come The Aliens.

It’s not the first time the star has talked about her encounter. In an interview with The Guardian in 2013 she also talked about the moment.
She revealed to the paper: “If I told you, you’d just laugh at me, because everybody does! It was 26 June, the day after Michael Jackson died, and me and my mate were in the garden and we saw bright lights in the sky.”

“I have to say there’s not a day gone by that I don’t think about what the hell it was. It was so huge, two of them, going zigzag for 10 minutes and I could feel the momentum and I knew it was really massive. ”
“It could be some very clever thing that someone developed somewhere, but I’ve got a feeling it wasn’t.”
