I’m A Celebrity star Kim Woodburn is stepping away from her professional duties as she undergoes eye surgery.
The outspoken 82-year-old TV star often makes headlines for her unfiltered opinions about prominent personalities. She recently took a swipe at Katie Price, branding her a “big tattooed monster”.
But it seems it’ll be a while before Kim entertains her fans with her Instagram videos, as she’s focusing on her health.
Kim Woodburn undergoes eye surgery
Kim’s Instagram account revealed that the TV legend is undergoing surgery on her eye. The post doesn’t reveal further details about her health.
The post shared by her team on Wednesday (February 19) simply reads: “We regret to tell you that Kim is unable to record further videos until Friday 7th March.” However, the caption states: “Due to surgery to eye.”
Hope you’re okay, dear Kim. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
While the operation on her eye appears to be health-related, this isn’t the time Kim is going under the knife for a major procedure.
The I’m A Celebrity star has been vocal about having plastic surgery in the past. She revealed in an interview that she had a breast reduction after appearing on popular ITV show I’m A Celebrity.
She told the Mirror: “I’ve had my breasts reduced, I’ve always had huge knockers, they were very big, they were hanging badly. So when I saw this after the jungle, I thought, oh, God, Kim they look awful love.”
Kim continued: “So I went and got them made smaller. So, now listen up, if I take my bra off they’re firm and pert just like an 18 year old’s.”

The post about Kim’s health worried her fans, as they took to Instagram to wish her a speedy recovery.
One fan wrote: “Get well soon my love wishing you a speedy recovery and sending you lots of love.”
Another added: “Hope you’re okay, dear Kim. Wishing you a speedy recovery.”
A third person said: “Hope you are okay Kim.. looking forward to seeing you again soon. Keep well lovely lady.” “Get well soon, we love you!” another declared.
Another added: “Sending lots of love and a fabulous recovery.”
