Kylie to reveal all about her cheating ex

The Aussie poppet is back with a 90s sound and vengeful set of lyrics

Kylie Minogue fans are used to the perky pop songstress unleashing delicious dance ditties with catchy tunes and sing-a-long lyrics.

But it looks like the Aussie pop legend, who recently turned 49, might be taking a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book.

According to reports, songs on her next album are going to be very personal indeed.

It is believed that she will touch on what she went through when she discovered that her ex fiancé Joshua Sasse was cheating on her.

So Mr Sasse, you better watch your back.

All your secrets and everything you did to her while you were allegedly seeing Spanish actress Marta Milans will be exposed in song.

And we can’t wait.

“Kylie’s album will give fans fly-on-the-wall access to what happened between her and Josh,” a music source told The Sun.

“She has gone into serious detail on some of the songs and it has helped her make sense of everything.

“It was obviously a very tough time but throwing herself into music has been an amazing help.”

But it turns out this latest album could also have a really serious edge to it and Kylie will, for the first time, touch on politics and gender issues.

“It looks like her album could be her most political yet too, with talk of tracks covering issues like LGBT rights.

“Kylie just wants to make an album that will start conversations.”

Kylie does politics – we can’t believe it!

She’ll be running for the UK’s next Prime Minster – which might not be such a bad thing.

After a few years treading water with Roc Nation, it is believed Kylie is back on form and working again with Guy Chambers, who she worked with on her Light Years album in 2000 and who penned the popular anthem Your Disco Needs You.

She is also believed to have teamed up with Brian Higgins who used to produce Girls Aloud’s feisty smash hits.

But it looks like her first single will be a Nineties throwback track produced by Brit DJ Sigala.

And the good news is, the track is very much what fans will lap up!

“She wants people to be honest with her,” Sigala – aka Bruce Fielder – has revealed.

“I’m influenced a lot by the Nineties so it makes sense for me to work with her. It fitted really well.

“It’s cool that it sounds throwback but it needs to sound modern as well to take Kylie’s career forward.

“It’s about waiting for somebody to tell you how they feel and being like, ‘Come on, let’s get it out in the open and stop messing around. Tell me what you’re waiting for.’

“After splitting from Joshua maybe that’s why she picked it because she wants people to be honest with her.

“It’s for her album, that’s the plan. Hopefully the next single.”
