Kym Marsh has ruled out heading to the jungle Down Under or taking to the dance floor to show off her Samba once she leaves Coronation Street.
The soap star, 42, has made it clear she will not be looking to take part in celebrity reality shows following her exit from Weatherfield after 13 years.
The Michelle Connor actress indicated her daughter’s pregnancy was a significant factor in her decision to move on – and grandmother-to-be Kym can’t wait to meet the upcoming new arrival to her family.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Kym hinted she would be focusing on getting to know her grandson – and that she could be off before the end of the spring.

“I’m looking forward to having more time to spend with him and [my daughter] Emilie after he’s born this summer,” she explained.
However, Kym – who has been linked with two new acting roles in recent days – was quick to dismiss the possibility of her turning up in a reality series.
Asked about whether she’d be up for taking part in I’m A Celebrity or Strictly Come Dancing, Kym insisted that was not the kind of gig she’d be rushing to take on after a long stint on one of British TV’s favourite soaps.
She responded: “As wonderful as those shows are, I’m not leaving Corrie after 13 years to do reality TV.”

Nonetheless, the former Hear’Say singer has high hopes for the future – even though Corrie bosses have not confirmed whether she is making a permanent change or merely going on hiatus from the cobbles.
Kym added: “Other actresses from the show have gone on to do other incredible acting work, so who knows [what could happen]! It’s scary but I’m also really excited about what the future holds.”
Recent reports claim she has already been signed up for new roles on TV and on the stage.
“Kym has a really busy year ahead. She’s still got a while left on Corrie and then she’s already got two exciting projects lined up,” an unnamed source told The Mirror.
