Broody reality star Lauren Goodger has confirmed that she’s determined to become a mum in the next ten months, saying: “I’ve wanted a baby for so long.”
Speaking in a new interview with Closer magazine, the former star of The Only Way is Essex revealed: “I’m putting my foot down. I’ve wanted a baby for so long and 2018 is the year it’s finally happening.”
Lauren, 31, added that she would like a partner involved, but it’s not essential, saying: “Ideally, I would like to be in a relationship, even though I feel like I’m a strong, independent woman who could go it alone.
“But being a single mum is really tough.”
The Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing On Ice star is single, after splitting from ex-boyfriend Joey Morrison.
The pair broke up last July after 15 months together.

Before Joey, Lauren was engaged to E! presenter, Mark Wright, who is now married to Michelle Keegan. The pair were together for eleven years before finally ending things in 2012.
This isn’t the first time Lauren has admitted to wanting a baby.
In August, she told New magazine that she is always broody, saying: “I’ve always said I’d want a girl first, but now I don’t mind what I have. I do just love that bond you get between a mum and her son though.
“I want to be my kid’s best friend. There’s nothing I’ve not done, so they wouldn’t be able to fool me and pull the wool over my eyes! I’d be a very cool, up-to-date mum.”
Then, last November, she posted her fears about time running out, after watching a segment on This Morning about fertility.
She wrote: “Got me thinking about it now … I’m 31, got 4 years to have a baby?!”
Lauren also confessed her baby dreams during Channel 5 TV show In Therapy, where she said she wanted to have a baby with now-ex Joey – despite him being behind bars.

She said: “I think he will a good dad. People are saying wait until he’s out. I want to get married and have children. I want a beautiful household with lots of love and affection.
“I want to have quite a few children – four – as many as I can.”
