Former One Direction singer Liam Payne has deleted a photo from his Instagram shortly after getting a mocking backlash from fans.
Liam, 24, posted an image of himself on a private jet, wearing red tracksuit bottoms, featuring a pic of the Mona Lisa, and a denim jacket.
He was seen giving the camera the middle finger and captioned the picture: “You can only get jet lag from a jet the rest of y’all have got plane lag #NO [BLEEPS].”
Most fans found it hilarious, with one writing: “Literally just laughed out loud at Liam Payne’s ‘plane lag’ comment.”
Another added: “Surely Liam Payne is the most embarrassing person out there at the minute.”
Others mocked the star, with one tweet requesting: “Can someone please come and collect Liam Payne? He’s had a Capri Sun and he’s acting up to impress the year sevens again.”
It was liked more than 15,000 times.
Some fans advised Liam to stop showing off, writing: “Liam Payne is the biggest piece of cringe. Please stop.”
The singer, who is currently in New York promoting his new single, For You, with Rita Ora, quickly deleted the picture, and tried to distract his 15.2 million followers with a pic of himself topless in bed.
His new single is from the soundtrack of Fifty Shades Freed, the E.L. James follow up, due to hit UK cinemas on 9th February.
