Another day, another totally unconfirmed headline about Cheryl and Liam Payne’s relationship.
This time, The Sun alleges that Liam, 24, tried to bring up talk of marriage to the Girls Aloud singer, 34, after the birth of their son, Bear, 11 months, and was rebuffed.
A so-called source said: “Liam is smitten with his little boy and wants things to work between him and Cheryl, so thought talk of marriage was a positive step.
“But she just doesn’t seem to be thinking in the same sort of way and has made it clear that’s not on the cards at the moment.”
ED! has contacted Cheryl and Liam’s reps for comment.
But as neither Cheryl nor Liam has responded to any of the speculation, we’ll take it with a pinch of salt for now.

The latest unconfirmed rumour comes after Cheryl broke her silence on Tuesday morning.
Appearing at the launch of her new centre for disadvantaged youths in Newcastle, the former X Factor judge was interviewed on BBC Breakfast.
Presenter Dan Walker questioned: “Is a day like this frustrating for you when you’re trying to focus on what you’re doing there, when so much of your personal life is in the papers at the moment?”
Cheryl answered: “Is it frustrating? No it doesn’t bother me at all because my sole focus is on this. I’ve waited seven years to finally be here and none of that matters.
“It doesn’t bother me at all because my sole focus is on this. This is the most important part to me.”
She made no further reference to the ongoing speculation about her romance, instead using her interview to explain what the centre is aiming to do for young people in Newcastle.
Cheryl’s new centre, in association with The Prince’s Trust, is located on Blandford Square in Newcastle.
It aims to provide support for unemployed young people in the North East, giving them opportunities for training and help them find jobs. The centre hopes to help more than 5,000 people in the next three years.
The new report comes after several days of unconfirmed rumours surrounding the couple, who’ve been together for two years.
Over the weekend, headlines suggested the singing pair were going through a tough patch, allegedly because they were struggling to spend time together, as Cheryl remained in UK, and Liam worked in LA and promoted his new single For You around the world.
However, a source told US website Gossip Cop that the pair are “very much together” and The Mirror reports they’re determined to Fight For This Love.
Their insider claimed: “Hopefully they can emerge intact as a couple.”
Meanwhile, the speculation about an alleged marriage proposal goes against what former One Direction star Liam has previously said about getting married.
He has confirmed it’s not a priority, even saying he and Cheryl would likely have another child before walking down the aisle.
So can we take it all this proposal talk is way off the mark, then?
