He became a doting dad a year ago to baby Bear with girlfriend Cheryl, and has been busy promoting his solo career since.
But singer Liam Payne has revealed fatherhood hasn’t inspired a song on his debut album – as it was produced before his son came into his life.
“He wasn’t born during the production of the album, so there’s not a song about Bear on it,” the 24-year-old told Front Row Japan.
Liam said he hasn’t ruled out doing a song about Bear in the future though, as long as it isn’t “cheesy” or “boring”.
“It’s difficult because Bear is the best thing I’ve ever experienced so it couldn’t be a boring song, it wouldn’t be something that was done easily,” he explained.
The former One Direction singer added that he’d be happy if he could produce something “cool” like Will Smith’s Just The Two Of Us inspired by his son Jayden.

While Cheryl and Liam fans won’t hear about their son on his father’s record, Cheryl is said to have written a song about Bear.
The former X Factor judge went back into the studio after taking maternity leave, and her producer Naughty Boy said one of her tracks “has been influenced by her son Bear.”
He refused to share the name of the song but said: “It has got more edge than anything she has done before. I feel it is going to be very special and meaningful.”
Liam is currently in Japan to promote his forthcoming album, flying out just after Bear’s first birthday.
He paid a gushing tribute to his little boy on Instagram, showing a picture of the tiny one-year-old’s hand clutching his.
He captioned the image: “Can’t believe my little man is one today, where does the time go? Happy birthday son you’re my world.”
Liam is currently busy promoting his single from the latest 50 Shades movie, For You, with Rita Ora.

His fans are still eagerly awaiting his first solo album which will contain his hit song, Strip That Down.
The release date has not yet been advertised but his producer has promised it will contain “hit after hit”.
With Cheryl’s album also expected to be released later this year, Bear’s parents could be dominating the charts!
