Liam Payne posted a sweet Mother’s Day tribute to his partner Cheryl, thanking her for making the first year of their son’s life “incredible”.
The singer wrote a message on Twitter thanking his own mother and “momma bear” Cheryl for the way she cares for Bear, who was born in March 2017.

Cheryl paid tribute to her own mother Joan, sharing a throwback photograph of them together when she was a child.
The image posted on Instagram showed the former Girls Aloud singer as a little girl in a pink dress and ribbons.
Cheryl wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers doing the best for their children. I hope today you are feeling loved and appreciated.”
She added emojis of flowers and a heart.
Cheryl and Liam Payne’s relationship has been in the headlines over the last few weeks thanks to pesky rumours of a rocky patch.
They’ve already denied vehemently denied it and on Saturday, former X Factor judge Cheryl, 34, shared a short Instagram message that once again rubbished any speculation of trouble.
Chez left a sweet post on fellow popstar Rochelle Humes’ Instagram page, to mark the birthday of Rochelle’s daughter Valentina.
Cheryl reacted to Rochelle’s post which featured a picture of her cradling baby Valentina following her birth.

Rochelle, who is married to former JLS star Marvin, wrote: “1 YEAR TODAY !! Where has the time gone? Happy Birthday mummy’s baby girl, we love you more than you even know. Today is yours and so is the world, we are so proud of you Valentina Raine.”
Cheryl was among the many people leaving messages underneath the post.
She wrote: “Happy 1st birthday Valentina. Lots of love from me, Liam and Bear.”
Yes. From Cheryl, Liam and their son Bear. Not just Cheryl and Bear.
So can we put the split rumours to bed now, please?
Meanwhile, former One Direction star Liam, 24, also poked fun at rumours this week, giving a brilliant response to the latest claims.
It was alleged Cheryl nabbed Hollywood star Tom Hardy for a photo at a recent Prince’s Trust charity event in order to “make Liam speechless” aka jealous.
He joked on Twitter: “I am jealous tbh I want to cozy up to Tom hardy too what can I say (sic).”
Cheryl and Liam will celebrate their son Bear’s first birthday on March 22.
The couple have been fiercely private when it comes to their beloved son, choosing to keep him away from the limelight and not release any photos.
Meanwhile, it’s been a busy year for the both of them.

Liam has been on the road promoting his solo career while Cheryl has been in the studio working on new music and, of course, launching her Cheryl’s Trust centre.
