When Cheryl gave birth to her first sone with One Direction star, Liam Payne, her mother, Joan, was reported to have moved in with the couple to help out.
Well it looks like she’s still there, and Liam counts himself lucky.
The singer took to Instagram to praise the help Joan’s been giving him and his new family – sharing photos of her helping out around the house with the hashtag #WheresJoan.

The pair were both in attendance at last night’s episode of The X Factor – Liam performing his new single, Bedroom Floor, while Cheryl looked on from the audience.
And it seems they left their home, and baby, Bear, in safe hands, with Joan, alongside Liam’s mum, Karen.
Acting like many mums before have been known to act, it seems Joan was unable to resist tidying up a bit in the kitchen.
Liam posted a series of shots of Joan to Instagram Stories – and even included one of Karen, snacking on a bowl of food.
Meanwhile, Liam and Cheryl’s night out got almost as chaotic as life at home with a newborn, when a staging mishap led to an unexpected exit.
After performing and chatting to host Dermot O’Leary, Liam found himself struggling to find an appropriate exit in the wings, so resorted to popping into the audience and grabbing Cheryl, before leaving down the aisles.
The couple have been balancing their family life and careers carefully, with Liam having to spend a lot of time away in LA, working on his solo career.
Cheryl is reportedly gearing up to begin work on her next album as well.

The couple have been keeping their private lives fairly private, posting social media shots of his hands and feet, but keeping baby Bear largely out of shot.
But it seems Liam was moved to document their mothers’ support properly, and give them the praise they deserve.
