Oh dear – it’s the kind of scenario every parent dreads in the run up to Christmas – not getting the pressies your kids really, really want.
But it’s the kind of sitch we probably don’t expect celebs to find themselves in, what with their hordes of ‘people’ and bulging bank accounts and the like.

Poor old Lily Allen was not feeling the festive vibe at all when she took to Twitter yesterday to share a rather devastating update to her Amazon order.
An order she assumed was placed, paid for and speeding its way in Santa’s sleigh ready for daughters Ethel, six, and Marnie, four, to open on Christmas morning, was, well, not coming at all.
Unfortunately, Lily had missed an order update from the company telling her that her logged credit card had expired.
Writing on Twitter, Lily shared a screen grab of the email from Amazon, and captioned it:
“When your card expires and you don’t check your emails.”
HOW gutting?
And it’s not the first pre-Christmas setback Lily has endured this year, either.
Last month, in a now deleted tweet, she shared how she was unsure she would even be at home for Christmas, as the tenants in her £1.5million north London flat were allegedly asking for more time to vacate the property.
She wrote at the time: “Meant to be moving back into my flat this week, but my tenants just dropped that they can’t find anywhere to go up to their standards.
“Then they said they’re diplomats and have diplomatic immunity and there’s nothing I can do about it. So, who fancies a family of 3 for Xmas?”
The lodgers were later snapped moving out of the property, and told The Sun that they were “astonished” by Lily’s tweet because they had only asked for a “couple of days” extra to get sorted.

Some of Lily’s fans were quick to sympathise with the singer’s gifting woes yesterday, with one telling her to blame Santa for the mix up.
But others couldn’t resist pinging back some sarcastic responses, including telling her to get her dad to “sub” her the cash, and asking her why she couldn’t just go to the shops like “normal people”.
Lily didn’t update her followers on the sitch, so we don’t know if Ethel and Marnie will be waking up to their Barbie loot tomorrow – though the chances are that between mum and Santa and an early morning Christmas Eve dash to the shops, the day will be saved.
