The star broke down as she revealed the devastation of being told she had the disease.

Speaking about her treatment the 58-year-old admitted: “It’s very daunting…I’m devastated.

“I feel so bad for my family having to go through all this again.”

“I’m sorry for crying – I didn’t know I’d be this emotional,” she added as she struggled to hold back the tears.

Determined to fight the disease and stay positive Linda said: “They’ve told me it’s not curable but it is treatable.

“I’m not going to let it take me, I’m going to fight it every step of the way because there are so many things that I want to do.”

Last week, Coleen opened up to her fellow panellists about Linda discovering the devastating news.

She said: “[Linda] fell up the stairs and she broke her hip.

“She went to hospital and when they did the scan of her hip they found secondary cancer.”

Since the news came out, Linda has revealed she feels her sister Bernie, who passed away from breast cancer in 2013, is looking down on her.

She also believes that the ghost of her late sister pushed her up the stairs so the tumour would be discovered.

Speaking to Best magazine she said: “I wonder if Bernie pushed me?

“She was always one for pushing me, perhaps she did it so I would find the cancer.”

Fans immediately showed their support for the singer as one wrote on Twitter: “Poor Linda … cancer is the horriblest disease ever !! I really wish her all the best .. #LooseWomen [sic]”.

Another said: “What a fantastic interview between Linda Nolan @NolanColeen & @loosewomen team hats off to you all #LooseWomen.”

We’re sending her lots of well wishes.
