She’s been open about her heartache following her split from Ant McPartlin, but Lisa Armstrong put on her gladrags and enjoyed a night out with her girlfriends for Valentine’s Day.
The TV make-up artist, who separated from Ant last year, has often hinted at her sadness about their break-up on Twitter. But last night was a different story.
Newly single Lisa looked glammed-up and sassy in a selfie as she got ready for a night out with her friends.
The 42-year-old simply captioned her Instagram snap with: “#outout…”
The make-up expert looked like she had gone to a lot of effort for the evening, with false eyelashes and slick of bright red lipstick.
Her Instagram followers told her how great she was looking and that they were glad to see her getting back out there.
“Looking fantastic 👊🏼onwards and upwards 💝, ” wrote one of her fans.
A second follower gushed: “Looking fabulous Lisa!! Beautiful eyes and dark hair suits you better. Wishing you the very best for the future.”
Another hailed her an inspiration for those going through a break-up, adding: “One inspirational woman ❤️ going through the same situation atm and you remind me to keep going and not give up ⭐️.”
A fourth commented: “Looking really good Lisa. So glad you’re holding your head up high. All the best x.”
Lisa’s Strictly Come Dancing pal, pro dancer Karen Clifton, also complimented her look by posting the fire emoji on her pic.

Lisa has admitted she’s had a tough time since separating from Ant last January, after 19 years together.
Her ex-husband was most likely spending Valentine’s Day with his new girlfriend, Anne-Marie Corbett.

Ant, 43, recently opened up about their romance and called Anne-Marie a “beautiful soul” during an interview with The Sun. He also claimed he is the happiest he has ever been.
The couple went public with their romance last July. But Lisa made her feelings known when she continued to ‘like’ messages of support from fans on Twitter.
