Jade Thirlwall didn’t make the cut for the role as Jasmine in Disney’s new live-action movie Aladdin.
But the Little Mix superstar has shared a message to her fans telling them how she really feels about it.
In a pic posted on her Instagram page on Sunday, the 24-year-old insisted she was ‘over it’ in a still from one of the band’s music videos.

It shows herself wearing a metallic and fur outfit while she stares into the camera holding a gun with the words ‘Over it’ attached to it.
You hear that people? She doesn’t care!
Winning the role instead was Power Rangers actress and singer Naomi Scott, also 24.
Jade’s fans immediately took to the pic and shared their support for her.
“You will always be our Jasmine,” said one.
Another added: “Jade you are my princess girl💕 keep singing darling, once you will be the best actress in the world and singer in one! I know you can do it #girlpower !”
“You will always be our princess Jasmine. Don’t let this get you down. We love you and remember everything happens for a reason. Love you! 💜” said a third.
Jade addressed the rumours a little while back, but refused to talk about what had been discussed.
Instead, she said: “I can’t confirm or deny that but the group always comes first anyways, regardless of what happens.”
Playing the part of Aladdin is Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud.
It was also revealed over the weekend that Will Smith has been cast to play the Genie.

There have been months and months of speculation, but Disney finally confirmed the news at the Disney D23 Expo, a fan event in southern California.
Will Smith will take the role that was voiced by the legendary Robin Williams back in 1992.
The movie’s producer, Guy Ritchie, had previously spoken about casting the Fresh Prince of Bel Air star for the part.
“I can’t give you any updates. I mean, I like Will Smith very much,” he said last month.
“It would make me very happy to be making it with him, but the whole thing is very exciting. I’m looking forward to it.”
Thankfully, he has also confirmed that it will definitely be a musical: “I think it’d be tough to not make [Aladdin] a musical.
“I’ve really just immersed myself into that project. So I’m still looking for cast members, we still haven’t found exactly which direction we’re going in. I’m confident that at some stage it will reveal itself to me, but right now it’s just a bit too premature.”
