The I’m a Celebrity jungle could be echoing to the dulcet east end tones of an ex-EastEnders star.
It has been reported that former Gavin and Stacey star Larry Lamb is heading for the Ant and Dec fronted show for a massive six-figure fee.
The 69-year-old actor played Archie Mitchell in the BBC soap and he is a star that ITV producers have been chasing for a while.
A source told The Mirror: “It’s a mega coup for the show, they have wanted to get Larry for a long time and he finally agreed to it this year.”
I’m A Celeb bosses are hoping that Larry will prove to be “very popular with the ladies” and a “massive hit”.
It was Lady C’s controversial turn in the jungle last year that has apparently piqued Larry’s interest and he apparently “can’t wait to give it a go”.
He will be hoping to join the likes of Scarlett Moffatt, Carol Vorderman and Danny Baker Down Under.
Here is all you need to know about this year’s I’m A Celebrity…
The first shots of the new trailer have been released and our favourite hosts look absolutely petrified.
Maybe it was the growling sound in the previous trailer that was scaring them… or maybe it’s the thought of someone having to eat crocodile vagina!
One thing we want to know, is why the heck is Dec dressed as a girl guide?!
All will be revealed on the weekend, as the new promo video will premier during the ad break of The X Factor.
We hope Ant and Dec will be presenting the series dressed like this!
With the show just around the TV schedule corner, it’s time to feed you all the essential facts!
When does this year’s I’m A Celebrity… begin?
Okay, hand on heart, we aren’t 100% sure, as ITV are yet to release a start date – they like to keep us all speculating. But we can make an educated guess, after 15 runs of the show. So we’ll put £5 on it kicking off on Sunday November 13. That’s less than a month to wait, people!!!
Which celebs are rumoured to be chundering (or perhaps not) on crocodile privates?
Danny Baker
Odds: 10/1 (William Hill)
The broadcaster could be getting acquainted with mealworms and cockroaches in a few weeks.
According to The Sun, Danny is the most expensive signing on this year’s show so far, getting a six-figure sum.
Just days after announcing he is cancer-free, he is said to have signed up.
Good for you Bakes!
Charlotte Crosby
Odds: 4.5/1 (William Hill)
Despite being officially confirmed, the Geordie Shore babe is a favourite to enter.
After making a shock exit from the show that made her famous and splitting with love-rat Gaz Beadle, she is a free bird to head Down Under.
Carol Vorderman
Odds: 11/1 (Ladbrokes)
The former Countdown star has allegedly been offered a six-figure sum to head into the jungle. Carol can literally do anything and everything, so if it’s true, all bets are off already.
Scarlett Moffatt
Odds: 4/1 (William Hill)
Our favourite Gogglebox couch potato is rumoured to take part in the series.
An insider told The Sun: “Scarlett has gone down really well on Gogglebox and I’m A Celeb producers think she’s a perfect fit for them.

Craig Charles
Odds: 5/1 (William Hill)
The former Coronation Street star appeared on the show in 2014, but left the jungle after his brother tragically died from a heart attack.
Now ITV bosses are hoping he will come back to finish what he started.
Kate Wright
Odds: 10/1 (Ladbrokes)
The TOWIE star could be following in pal Gemma Collins’ footsteps.
A source told Digital Spy that Kate is heading Down Under and looking for love after her split from Dan Edgar.
Tyson Fury
Odds: 10/1 (William Hill)
Following the cancellation of Tyson’s world title rematch fight with Wladimir Klitschko, I’m A Celebrity bosses are keen to offer him big bucks to go down under.
Tyson is currently blowing up a storm after allegedly testing positive for cocaine, which could see him stripped of his WBA and WBO titles.
Sources close to the boxer think that this could be the high profile boost that his career needs.

Sam Allardyce

Michael Jackson’s doctor has also been rumoured for the line-up, and he could be prescribed a whopping £230,000 pay packet for it.
Robbie Savage
Odds: 10/1 (William Hill)
The former Strictly Come Dancing star, who is close friends with hosts Ant and Dec, has been on ITV’s list of dream contestants for years and it seems the time has finally come.
According to sources, the 41-year-old ex-footballer and TV pundit is set to swap the sequins and fake tan of Strictly for a khaki vest and mosquito repellent once he signs on the dotted line.
“Robbie would be an amazing signing. We’re quietly confident he’ll it after years or trying to persuade him,” said a source.
