Loose Women has sent a message to Katie Price following the star’s decision to seek help in rehab for post-traumatic stress disorder.
On Monday’s episode of the programme, panel anchor Ruth Langsford described fellow panellist Katie as a “close friend of the show” and sent everyone’s well-wishes to her.
She told viewers: “Now you may have seen in the papers at the weekend that it’s been reported Katie Price, close friend of this show, obviously, has had a few personal problems over the last few months and has checked into rehab this weekend to be treated for post traumatic stress disorder.
“Now, obviously we don’t have all the details of what is going on but we would like to send Katie our very best wishes.”

Ruth then turned to the panel and said: “PTSD is a very serious condition.”
Jane Moore agreed and said: “I read the reports at the weekend and Katie, if you’re watching [she blew her a kiss].
“I do a lot of work with Help For Heroes so my only experience of PTSD was soldiers who have come back from Germany years ago or Afghanistan, who have been in these terrifyingly explosive situations and suffered accordingly.
“I never knew it was something that can come out of day to day life.”
Nadia Sawalha replied: “I didn’t know but presumably the spectrum is quite broad.”
Ruth chipped in: “I suppose any stress…”
Guest panellist Mel B interjected: “Anything you’ve been through that has been traumatic for you. I’ve openly admitted that I have suffered from PTSD and it’s an ongoing thing and a condition you have to acknowledge. I commend her for saying it out loud as it’s hard.”
Katie’s mum Amy confirmed her daughter would be entering rehab over the weekend.
Amy told The Sun that although Katie can be her “own worst enemy”, she’s also been judged for years and subjected to “endless attacks” over everything she does.
Amy said: “She is constantly judged on her kids, her home, work, financial situation, the way she looks, how she dresses and what she does.
“No person can take this kind of pressure and not succumb to it.”
Katie’s had a difficult year with her beloved mum Amy being diagnosed with a terminal lung condition, her marriage to third husband Kieran Hayler breaking down, and a romance with boyfriend Kris Boyson recently ending.
She’s also faced headlines about her financial situation, the state of her mansion and allegations of wild partying, including a video clip filmed during a hen do in Majorca showing her appearing to rap “I love coke”.
There were even claims Katie was at risk of losing her Loose Women panellist job over recent headlines, but a rep for the show has vehemently denied that.

A rep for Loose Women told ED!: “She hasn’t been on the show as a panellist since January. She has not been dropped. There are no current dates booked.”
The show previously revealed Katie was taking a break from the panel to work on other projects such as her reality show, My Crazy Life, which recently finished airing on Quest Red.
