Former One Direction singer, Louis Tomlinson shared an emotional tribute to his late mother this week.
On the one year anniversary of his mother’s death, Louis posted: “Love you. Always x” on his Twitter.
Fans flooded Louis’ Twitter account with support on what was sure to be an extremely difficult day for the 25-year-old.
Louis’s mum, Johannah, passed away last year after a short battle with leukemia. The singer was scheduled to perform on The X Factor final just a few days after his mother’s death and bravely decided not to cancel the performance.
Louis struggled with tears during his performance but was overwhelmed with the support he received from fans online. Following his performance he tweeted his thanks:
“Feeling so much love around me and my family. Mum would have been so [bleep]ing proud ( sorry for swearing mum ) love you !”
“That was harder than I ever imagined. I want to thank everyone around me and all of the amazing fans out there that made that so special!”

Clearly finding the anniversary of her mum’s passing incredibly emotional, Lottie captioned her post:
“1 year today. We were meant to have forever together but even that wouldn’t have been long enough. Thank you for being my angel in the sky and showing me how it feels to have been loved by you.”
