There’s potential romance on the cards in tonight’s trip to Holby City – but as always there is drama along the way as both Dominic Copeland and Sacha Levy find themselves each dealing with an unexpected medical emergency.
With his hepatitis C diagnosis weighing heavily on his mind, Dom is in no mood for fun and games, no matter how hard new love interest Lofty Chiltern tries.
After contracting the virus when he injured himself on a needle during a routine operation, Dom’s life has been turned upside down.

But despite Lofty’s attempts to cheer Dom up, his attempts at inviting him for a fun night out to take his mind off things fall flat.
The pair have cross words and it is clear that Dom is keeping his new man at arm’s length while he gets his head around his health worry.
But as Dom heads home after his shift for a quiet night in alone, his plans are thwarted at the last minute.
Finding a woman called Shanon, who is supposed to be on a hen night, impaled by her leg on a railing, Dom is forced to put his own problems to the back of his mind as he fights to save her life.
But as Dom struggles to keep Shanon alive as they wait for an ambulance to arrive, something she says makes the medic reevaluate his own future.
Will he be able to save his unexpected patient, and also his future with Lofty?
Meanwhile, Sacha stays behind after his shift, only to find that he has a surprising connection with another member of staff.
But it isn’t a doctor who has caught Sacha’s eye, it is Patricia the cleaner.

The pair strike up an unlikely bond when Sacha helps Patricia with her cleaning job, only for her to fall ill and need his medical expertise.
As he fights to save Patricia, the pair form a relationship that could potentially develop into something more.
Is there romance on the cards for the consultant or is he heading for heartache?
