Remember this summer when Love Island contestant Georgia Steel couldn’t stop talking about how loyal she is? It sounds like her ex-boyfriend, Sam Bird disagrees.
Georgia, 20, has taken to Instagram to hit back at allegations she claims Sam is about to make following their split earlier this week.
In a lengthy note, Georgia wrote that her 25-year-old co-star – who she met on this year’s series of the romantic show – is “going to the press” because “Sam thinks I cheated”.
She accuses him of going through her phone and finding, “banter I had between me and my best mate… The banter was about my ex boyfriend from which he’s then put two and two together and come up with an imaginary scenario.”
The reality star strenuously denies cheating, writing: “There was NO third party involved in the break up between him and I.” Georgia admits spending the night at her ex’s house but adds: “NOTHING did happen. I’m honestly not like that.”
In fact, Georgia says the reason for their split was that she “fell out of love”, adding: “I really do hope he finds the girl for him as he has so much to give and does deserve to find love. And I really hope I find the man for me, too, in the future.”
It followed Sam posting a cryptic message on InstaStories where he wrote: “Claims that Georgia has cheated on me with our tour manager and friend Stevie Lux is NOT true.
“It involves her ex”.
ED! has contacted representatives of Sam and Georgia for comment.

The pair, who have been together only three months confirmed their break up on Wednesday night.
It came just hours after they walked a red carpet together looking perfectly happy.
Personal trainer Sam wrote on Twitter: “I’m devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I can’t bring myself to comment on at the moment. As always I wish her all the best (sic)”
Georgia followed suit on her Instagram Stories, writing in a post: “I’m very sad to say me and Sam have split. I will always care about him. However please understand this is a hard time for us both. Thank you”.

Following Sam’s Twitter post, he was inundated with words of support from several former Love Island stars, including Chris Hughes.
He wrote: “Chip up buddy. More happiness around the corner. Keep smiling and upbeat. X”.
Dom Lever tweeted: “Chin up bird man”.
Sam’s former Love Island co-star Dr. Alex George also sent some well wishes to him, tweeting: “Love you mate xxx”.
The news came just one day after they were pictured together at the ITV Palooza event in London on Tuesday.
And it comes just a month after Sam said he will be “saving for years” to make enough money for the engagement ring Georgia wanted.
When asked if engagement is on the cards for the pair, Georgia exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “Ooh, I don’t know…”
Sam added: “The ring she wants, I’ll be saving for years!”
