Wow, things – and minds – change quickly on Love Island.
Jonny may have endured the most cringe-y of dates with ice maiden Camilla, but it looks like she is rapidly warming to him.
Although, when she chose to keep the newcomer over her porridge pal Harley – who has been sent home – it was obvious something was going on in that closed-book mind of hers.
And in tonight’s episode Amber reveals she had definitely spotted a chemistry between the pair.
“You know what? Strong contenders, I think,” she muses. “You watch Camilla and Jonny. I’ve got my eye on them.”
Viewers will get to see Camilla and Jonny bond further during the latest episode when all of the couples are rewarded with a surprise breakfast in the garden.
Camilla admits that she’s beginning to relax around Jonny:
“I’m still a little bit nervous, but more excited nervous than apprehensive nervous.” Oooooooooh.
Indeed, afterwards, Camilla is positively gushing in the Beach Hut.
“Breakfast was lovely actually. Really, really nice,” she admits, albeit coyly. “And it was good to chat with Jonny and just get to know him a little bit more. It’s good to see how much we really have got in common.
“I feel happy when I’m talking to him. Last night obviously was hard but I feel like today will hopefully be fresh start.”
And during a spa day with the other girls, Camilla opened up further on her relaxed nature around Jonny, telling Amber that Jonny had made no attempt to cross any boundaries in their shared bed.
“I don’t like sharing beds. Not with anyone though, just in general.
“He made me feel really comfortable because he was so respectful, well over on his side. I was literally edge hugging on my end.
“But since we spoke at breakfast this morning, I’m quite excited to get to know him a little bit.”
Amber was quick to spot Camilla’s change of spirit, telling her: “I haven’t seen you this smiley since we’ve been here. You’re glowing, you’re actually glowing.”
