As new celebrity relationships bloom, accusations of showmance quickly follow – as both Jonny Mitchell and Stephanie Pratt have learned.
But the pair insist that their romance is 100 percent legitimate, and that no one could take a fake relationship as far as they have.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the couple claimed they refuse to listen to critics of their relationship, with Jonny hinting that not all his Love Island co-stars are as genuine.

Stephanie is no stranger to accusations of this kind. “Everyone I date, they say it’s a showmance,” she said. “But we don’t care what people think – it’s not a showmance.”
Meanwhile, Jonny claimed there were limits to what people would do for a fake relationship: “I feel like there’s a cut off for that sort of thing, though. People in a showmance aren’t going to go to Bali together – at least, I don’t think they would.”
Stephanie claimed that the pair were getting serious enough for the next big step – meeting the family. She said she’d be bringing the Love Island star to LA to meet her family, including her brother and sister-in-law, The Hills power couple, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.
She mentioned that Jonny had already found approval among her friends, saying “My friends were obsessed with him, and they’re a tough crowd.”
Both Stephanie and Jonny are used to having their relationships play out on the public stage. Stephanie dated Spencer Matthews on Made in Chelsea, followed by a tumultuous relationship with Josh Shepherd.

Jonny’s main relationship on Love Island was with Camilla Thurlow – the pair were on again, off again for a while, before ending things completely after Jonny dumped her for new girl Tyler.
Jonny refused to confirm whether the ongoing relationships from his season of Love Island are real – saying simply “no comment,” when asked.
Winning couple Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies are still together, as are Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville.
