Love Island’s Chris Hughes joins forces with reality TV legends for spooky new show

Rylan Clark-Neal is hosting

Just weeks after leaving the Love Island villa show favourite Chris Hughes has already bagged himself a TV role on a brand new ghost hunting show, Celebrity Ghost Hunt Live.

With his fame going from strength to strength and his lovable personality winning over fans TV bosses have decided to put him back on our screens (yay!).

Chris will join former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby and reality hunk Stephen Bear in the new series – which will be hosted by Rylan Clark-Neal.

The reality series, airing on Channel 5’s 5STAR, will see famous faces face their paranormal fears.

The experts and the celebrities will attempt to communicate with spirits.

A source told The Sun: “Chris Hughes is going to be hysterical – he was the easily the most scared on Love Island.

“The slightest sudden movement of something on the show and he would jump out of his skin. Imagine what he’s going to be like with ghosts.”

They added: “There will be no funny business with this show – it will be a genuine ghost hunt. And there’s no hiding as it will be broadcast live.

“Some of the high tech equipment is going to be used so the celebrities can become top ghostbusters.

“It’ll be something ghost hunting fans have never seen before.”

This is going to be AMAZING.

Chris recently found stardom after coming third on the most talked about reality series this year.

Fans fell in love with the blond country lad and his hilarious antics on the show.

His heartfelt speeches to girlfriend Olivia Attwood and bromance with show winner Kem Cetinay has made him the perfect person for reality TV.

Now outside of the villa his relationship with Olivia has continued to blossom.

However recently there have been rumours that the two have gone their separate ways.

Earlier this week reports emerged claiming the two had ended their romance after Olivia was pictured hanging out with footballer Bradley Dack.

A source told The Sun: “Chris has told his close friends it’s all over. He’s furious and heartbroken to see her all over someone else.

“It’s clear that they are more than just mates, so he’s dumped her.”

But Olivia was quick to slam the rumours as she tweeted: “Just for the record. Chris and I were together Saturday night. So everyone can just relax.”

She continued: “Make no mistake. I know what I have. Chris is everything people think he is and so much more. He puts up with this wild child like a hero x.”

“Also would be amazing if you woke up now Hun @chrishughes_22,” she added proving their relationship is as good as ever.

The pair have continued to share snaps of each other looking VERY loved-up.

Chris appeared on ITV’s Loose Women earlier this month where he finally met Katie Price – who revealed she had a crush on Chris even saying she would like him to be her “next husband”.

Katie had said on a previous show: “I’m in love with Kieran and he’s perfect, but Chris from Love Island, he’s going to be my next husband.”

And she was quick to question Chris on his relationship with Liv as he joined the panel.

She wanted to know how being off the island will affect his relationship with girlfriend Olivia. She asked: “So now you’re back, she’s off working and you’re off working – do you think that will put more tension on-”

“Oh here we go,” Coleen interjected. Katie continued: “No, this is how it works. He’ll be off doing PAs, she’ll probably get jealous, maybe vice versa. But that will be the real test, I think.”

He replied: “Well, I mean, there’s already that kind of separation where we do miss each other and we ain’t together like we were. But work’s work.”

Oh, Pricey!
