Dom Lever was booted off Love Island last night and told Caroline Flack he was “going to see the girl I love”.
The Manchester hunk fell for model Jessica Shears on the show – but admits he has unanswered questions about her alleged fling with Mike Thalassitis.
When asked by The Sun whether he’d take Jess back if the allegations were true, he said, “No, no way”.
“I don’t think I would make a go of it,” he said. “I would stay friends with her because we’ve been on a pretty epic journey together but if that has happened then I suppose everything I thought was special just wasn’t to her.”
Dom was smitten with Jess, however, and is hoping the stories aren’t true.
“I fell in love with her,” he told the paper. “It was so difficult for me to admit that to Jess.

“I cried when she left the villa. I’ve cried more in the last four weeks than I have in the last ten years of my life.”
Dom admitted that he wanted to speak to both Jess and Mike about what happened.
And he said if the rumours weren’t true then he was planning something very special indeed…
“Jess and I were on a really good run. If it carries on like that outside the villa then I do see myself proposing.” Woah, slow down!
While Jess hasn’t commented publicly on Dom’s eviction from the show, she was retweeting fans tweets about it, including one that read: “So gutted to see @_DomLever leave Love Island tonight! But at least he gets to reunited with @Jessica_Rose_UK #LoveIsland2017.”

Before he entered Love Island, Dom was single for a year and a half, and he admitted he was looking for a girlfriend: “I need a wingman, I want to have fun and enjoy life in general,” he said.
“I don’t have a type,” he added. “They’ve got to be slightly attractive, obviously. It’s looks that attract you but it’s personality that keeps you there. If they’re boring, you’re not going to enjoy being with them.”
When he left the show, he tweeted: “Thanks everyone for your love and support throughout my journey in Love Island. It’s been unreal.”
