Love Island’s Frankie Foster has said he can’t wait to reunite with Samira Mighty after she sensationally quit the show to be with him – despite advising her NOT to leave.
Samira, 22, made the tearful decision to leave the villa after Frankie was dumped earlier this week.
Her exit will air on Thursday night’s episode.
Frankie, 22, had initially told fans he didn’t want Samira to quit for him, as he wanted her to complete the experience.

The fitness coach and student answered fans’ questions earlier this week, which included someone who asked: “Do you want Samira to leave the villa for you?”
Frankie had replied: “Nope. I told her to stick it out. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and only a few weeks left.”
But Samira had other plans and decided to follow her heart and leave the villa to reunite with Frankie.
After Love Island announced Samira’s exit on Thursday afternoon, Frankie took to social media to gush: “Who’s heard the news!? I am so excited, just want to give her a huge hug.”

He added on his Instagram Stories: “Can’t wait to see her!”
Frankie had previously made it clear he would wait for Samira outside the villa, telling fans after he was dumped: “For everyone asking about Samira our relationship was definitely cut short and I can’t wait to see her when she gets out.”
In an exit Q&A after his dumping, Frankie admitted that his romance with Samira had developed at a slower pace than some of the other islanders’ romances, but he thought there was potential for a future.
“Our relationship got cut short,” he said. “We were probably moving at a slower pace to Josh and Kaz or Jack and Dani, who are in a full relationship. But there was definitely potential there, and if we had given it another week it could have been heading that way.
“It unfortunately got cut off at a bit of a turning point. We’d had the dinner date and things were starting to move forward. At the start I had no expectations but Samira and I naturally gravitated towards one another and it just got stronger every day. It was pretty chilled, there was no drama.
“As soon as she comes out, we’ll meet up and see what happens.”
In emotional scenes to air on Thursday night, viewers will see Samira break news of her exit to the islanders.

She says: “This decision is so, so hard. I’m devastated by it. But I think that it is the right thing to do. Just follow my heart because I’ve never done that before.
“I’ve always taken the back seat and now I need to go for it head on and leave and just go for Frankie… I’ve got to go with my gut feeling.
“I’m not saying I’m in love with Frankie or we’re going to get married tomorrow but I don’t want to waste any time, I just want to see him and I know this is the right thing to do.
“This opportunity was amazing and I take it with a full heart and full love.”
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
