Lucy Mecklenburgh has announced she is expecting her first child with her fiancé, ex Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas.
Lucy, who turned 28 on Saturday, posted a photo to Instagram to confirm their baby news.
It showed the two of them opening a box that contained a tiny white babygrow, alongside the caption: “Best birthday present I’ve ever had. Love you @ryanthomas84.”

Lucy kicked off her birthday celebrations on Friday night, marking the occasion with 35-year-old Ryan at exclusive London restaurant Sushi Samba.
The former TOWIE star wore a pretty nude-coloured dress for her dinner and cuddled up to Ryan while posing for an Instagram photo.

Posting it online, she told her followers: “Birthday celebrations part 1!”
Many of Lucy and Ryan’s pals have been quick to comment, with Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan writing: “Happy birthday xxxx.”
Georgia May Foote also sent her wishes, while former Made In Chelsea star Lucy Watson wrote: “Happy birthday gorge xxx.”

This is Lucy’s first birthday since getting engaged to Ryan, who starred in Coronation Street from 2000 to 2016.
Ryan popped the question in June after whisking Lucy off to the Amalfi Coast for a surprise holiday.
The couple announced their happy news by sharing a gorgeous photograph of themselves posing in front of the night skyline while on their break.
Lucy was wearing the giant sparkling ring Ryan had given to her and wrote on Instagram: “I said YES.”

The couple are yet to announce their wedding date but Ryan already has their big day planned out in his mind.
Long before he even proposed to Lucy, the star said in an interview that he wanted his nuptials to be even bigger than his brother Adam’s!
Emmerdale star Adam tied the knot with his wife Caroline, who is now a very close friend of Lucy, in 2014.
“[Lucy and I will] have a massive wedding. It would be huge and one big party. It would be bigger than my brother Adam’s!” he told OK! magazine.
