Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter is over the moon with her pregnancy as it took her so long to conceive.

She and her football coach fiancé Rudi Coleano are so happy with their double joy.

They have an 11-year-old daughter Lola and have been trying for another child for years and years.
Lucy, who plays Chas Dingle in the ITV soap, had a really tough time, but thanks the good news to a healthier lifestyle.
Talking to OK! magazine, she said: “Ever since Lola we’ve been trying for 11 years and now we’re expecting twins! We thought if it happens, it happens. But it never did. We just thought I was too stressed with work or a house renovation.
“We never had any concern about secondary infertility [the inability to fall pregnant after already giving birth to one or more children] because we had Lola so easily after six months of being together.
They both tried IVF last year and it didn’t work but are now 19 weeks pregnant.

Speaking about the treatment, she explained: “The whole process is extremely hard. The not knowing, the wanting to get excited.
“For my age, the chance of it working was 20%, so we were pumping so much money into it and wanted it so badly, but it was completely out of our control.
“You can do everything right, but if those eggs don’t want to stick, they won’t.”
Their new additions to the family are due on May 3 but Lucy seems to think that they’ll be here a little earlier.
We wish you all in the joy in the world!
