The parents of missing Madeleine McCann have been given hope after the miracle story of Jayme Closs, who escaped her kidnapper.
A post was shared on the Official Find Madeleine Campaign Facebook page, which was set up by Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann.
The message stated that Jayme’s case has made them determined not to give up in the search for their daughter.
Madeleine disappeared 11 years ago when she was three years old.
“Such great news,” the couple wrote in their post, which had a photo of Jayme alongside.
They added: “Jayme is an example of why we never lose hope and never stop searching.”

Madeleine went missing in 2007 during the family’s holiday in Portugal’s Algarve.
Kate and Gerry have worked tirelessly ever since to try and find her.

Wisconsin teenager Jayme, 13, was abducted from her home three months ago and her parents were killed in the process.
She was held captive for 88 days but managed to escape.
Jake Patterson has been charged with her kidnap and the murder of her parents James and Denise Closs.
Madeleine’s fate is still unknown and the search for her continues.
