A man who was acquitted of killing a woman on a Tinder date was paid £90,000 for an interview.
Last month, Gable Tostee was found not guilty of murder or manslaughter of Warriena Wright.
The 26-year-old was on a Tinder date with Gable, when she fell to her death from his 14th floor apartment balcony.
After refusing to appear at the trial, he finally appeared for the first time in public on a news programme which has been described as bizarre since airing.
The interview focused on Mr Tostee’s recollection of the events of that night and a 199-minute audio recording he secretly made.

He used the smartphone to record an argument between the pair as well as Miss Wright’s fall from the balcony.
Gable can be heard saying: “You’re lucky I haven’t chucked you off my balcony you god damn psycho little b****.
“I’m gonna walk you out of this apartment just the way you are, you’re not going to collect any belongings.
“If you try to pull anything I’ll knock you out, I’ll knock you the f*** out.”
Warriena can then be heard hysterically screaming, “No”.
She then says: “I want to go home, I want to go home.”
The 30-year-old explained that he often recorded his nights out “just in case” something happened.
Gable claims Warriena became violent with him and so he locked her on the balcony.
In the interview – which he was paid £90,000 to take part in – he was asked why he shut her out.
He replied: “[The argument] was a lot, lot closer to the balcony door, and it was wide open, and it was the logical option at the time.

“I don’t know what else to do. I wanted to make it stop.
“She was certainly making a lot of noise.”
Tostee was also quizzed about why he called a lawyer rather than an ambulance immediately after she fell.
He said: “Nobody is trained for a situation like this. It’s like being hit by lightning. There is no right or wrong way to proceed from there.
“What had happened had happened, and there’s nothing an ambulance could do to change that.”

As well as this, Gable called his father and went to get pizza after her death.
Social media users were furious with Tostee as well as programme bosses for paying him such a fee for an interview.
Many said the television show “should have more respect for her family”.
Another added: “Sickening stuff to hear #GableTostee collected a six-figure sum for his 60 Minutes interview. #bloodmoney #chequebookjournalism #getinthebin”.
