Emmerdale scriptwriters might think twice before letting Mark Jordon appear on This Morning again…
The actor, who plays Daz Spencer in the ITV soap, guest starred on the topical chat show today (Thursday 14 June) and, within minutes, let slip a huge spoiler about a major storyline.
Great news for incredulous hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. Not so much for Emmerdale!

Unsurprisingly Phillip got the giggles, while Mark joked that he would “get shot”.
Chatting to Holly and Phil about Daz’s biological daughter Amelia being missing, Mark accidentally let slip a juicy morsel about tonight’s episode.
Asked if Daz is behind the disappearance, Mark replied: “It does seem that people start testing Daz’s past and suggesting he has something to do with it.”

He continued: “The worst thing is the police have got quite substantial evidence that Daz has been texting Amelia while she’s been missing.
“I’ve just been brave telling you that. I’ll probably get shot telling you that.”
Phillip was open-mouthed, asking him: “What the hell are you doing?”
Insisting that he hadn’t spoiled the surprise and that there are more twists to come, Mark added: “It’s an hour-long episode tonight and tomorrow night and so much happens in both those episodes that it will probably test what people’s views are.
“I’m sure each household will have a view on what’s going on.”
When Phillip quizzed Mark about a huge confession due soon, Mark replied: “That’s coming up. There is some stonking movement in this story.
“The brothers are shell shocked. It’s bad enough to find out your brother who you’ve just accepted back into the fray has slept with your wife in the past, and then this daughter you’ve brought up isn’t yours.
“Whatever happens… What we do about where Amelia may be buried? Maybe! Possibly. I’m just throwing that out there.”
Amelia has been missing since she discovered the unsettling news that Daz, the man she thought was her uncle, is in fact her dad.
While the police have launched a missing person’s investigation and the family take part in a live TV appeal, Daz’s strange behaviour has led to some people suspecting he’s behind it.
But could he really abduct his own daughter?
