Mark Wright is apparently planning to leave his hosting gig on US gossip show Extra so that he can see more of wife Michelle Keegan, but there are fears it could damage his career.
It’s been claimed that the Essex star is considering leaving his Hollywood role behind in order to pursue more jobs at home in the UK and see more of his family.
However, an inside source says he is taking a big risk when it comes to his future in The States.
An unnamed Hollywood agent told The MailOnline: “He should be thanking his lucky stars that he was given this job as it is literally a once in a life time opportunity.
“If Mark does in fact leave Extra he is abandoning his chance of ever achieving commercial success in the United States.
“With such a wide talent pool to choose from in Hollywood and New York, there are no longer second chances for a British personality who hasn’t been able to click with the American television audience.”

Mark and Michelle, both 31, have had to completely adapt their lives since he left the UK for Lala land at the start of last year.
The Our Girl actress has flown out to the US when she finds time in her busy filming schedule, which takes her abroad as well.
They have often been on separate continents in the last 18 months, due to their hectic schedules.
And former Corrie star Michelle has said she can’t see herself living abroad because she is too much of a “homebird”.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star has also voiced his desire to start a family with Mich next year.
In August, he told The Sun: “We say we’re going to try [for a baby] every year but something comes up with work. So it’ll be Michelle filming in South Africa and then I got the job in Los Angeles – so we think, right, we’ll try next year.”
