There was a total love-fest happening on The One Show last night when national treasure Mary Berry shared the sofa with, erm, national treasure David Beckham.
The pair were obviously thrilled to meet each other – and Mez Bez seemed particularly excited to be cosying up to the former football star.
We have to agree there’s a lot to love about both Bez and Becks so we can’t blame them for enjoying their get together!
David was on the show in his role as Unicef ambassador, talking about the kids his Seven Fund has helped over the years.

While Mary was chatting about her new TV outing Mary Berry’s Country House Secrets – and giving David some tips on designing his new kitchen.
First Mary commented on how lucky she was to be sharing the sofa with Golden Balls himself.

“Wouldn’t anybody else like to be next to you,” she joked.
And her face when David said he loved cooking was a treat to watch!
David told Mary all about how he had taken a cookery course in Milan because his kids love pasta and he wanted to know how to cook it properly.
“Victoria’s got jolly lucky,” Mary commented.
Oh Mez, we totally agree!
We’re just hoping the bosses at the Beeb clocked that chemistry and sign them up sharpish for a new cookery show – it’s bound to be a ratings winner!
