Kaggie Hyland – ED! Group Editor-in-Chief

Kaggie Hyland has been a journalist for over 20 years, cutting her teeth across numerous national news groups, including News UK, Reach and DMGT. Specialising in TV and Showbiz, she also has a wealth of experience writing and editing content across News, Lifestyle, Health, Travel, Style and Real Life. She keeps a special place in her heart for people who still use the subjunctive.

Nancy Brown – Acting Editor (Showbiz)

Nancy Brown has been an entertainment writer for 20 years, choosing a career in journalism because she wanted to meet Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow. Interviews with Michael Bublé, Idris Elba and, of course, the Love Is All Around singer followed. Nancy joined the ED! team in early 2019, after 18 years at OK! magazine. A lover of food, drink, shopping and celebrities, she now gets to write about her hobbies and interview her favourite famous faces in the name of work.

Carena Crawford – ED! Group Managing Editor (Soaps)

Carena Crawford has been in the soap game for 15 years, working on magazines including All About Soap, Inside Soap and Reveal. She’s pulled pints in the Rovers, the Woolpack, The Vic, and The Dog, interviewing the landlords, landladies and most of the regulars, and has been known to predict more than a few upcoming storylines.

Tamzin Meyer – Assistant Soap Editor

Tamzin Meyer started out writing all things entertainment for student publications Redbrick and Freshered. She began writing for Entertainment Daily in 2022, while still studying at university. She is an avid viewer of the soaps and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the happenings in Weatherfield, Walford and the Dales. When she’s not writing, she can often be found drinking a coffee from her favourite Corrie mug.

Fabio Magnocavallo – Assistant Editor

Fabio Magnocavallo experience of being a freelance entertainment journalist and editor dates back nearly 10 years. He specialises in writing news stories, features, and SEO-based articles, and interviewing stars for various topics, including music, TV, film, fashion, and celebrity. Some of Fabio’s cover stories include Gwen Stefani, Avril Lavigne, RAYE, Louis Tomlinson, and Paris Hilton. He joined the Entertainment Daily team full time as Assistant Editor in 2025.

Lottie O’Neill –  ED! Group Audience Development Editor

Lottie O’Neill ventured into the world of journalism seven years ago, starting with her own patch at a local paper in Essex – the home of TOWIE. After working as Overnight Editor at the Daily Star she oversaw three entertainment websites at GRV Media before joining Entertainment Daily in November 2024. She can’t get enough of the royal drama from inside and outside the palace, as well as across the pond.

Emily Towers – Staff Writer

Emily Towers began working for Entertainment Daily in February 2024 after spending two years as a freelance showbiz, TV, fashion, beauty and content writer for a variety of publications including The Sun, The Sun on Snapchat, Closer, Heat World and Darling Zine. Emily loves to write about the latest trending news, whether it’s reality TV chaos or Royal drama. She also has a passion for translating editorial content into share-worthy social media posts after spending two years as a social media manager and marketing executive.

Bruno Cooke – Staff Writer

Bruno Cooke is a freelance journalist with a passion for travel, food and storytelling. He spent four years on and off with GRV Media, and has written articles for the Kerala Tourism Board, Sri Lankan news website Groundviews and Sheffield University’s Forge Today. He writes poems about reality TV – it’s a good excuse to indulge in a guilty pleasure – and published his first novel, Reveries, in 2019.

Rebecca Sayers – Staff Writer

Rebecca Sayer’s love for showbiz and writing led her to complete a Masters in Journalism, which she graduated from in 2023. She went on to be a celebrity and royal writer for Celebrity Tidbit where she became known as the ‘resident Swiftie’, providing all the need-to-know info about Taylor Swift and her Eras Tour, before joining Entertainment Daily in 2024.

Robert Leigh – Freelance Writer

Robert Leigh has more than 18 years’ experience on national newspapers, magazines and digital titles. His career has seen him work across the world, including New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans in the US, as well as across Europe. Robert has a BA in English Literature and an MA in Writing & Performance (Drama/Film/Television).

Chaitra Krishnamurthy – Freelance Writer

Chaitra Krishnamurthy is an entertainment and lifestyle journalist with more than six years of experience in writing and content management. Chaitra was an entertainment content manager turned senior lifestyle writer at GRV Media for more than three years before joining ED! as a freelance writer in 2024.

Robert Slater – Freelance Writer

Aside from his role at Entertainment Daily, Rob Slater has also written for both television and stage. He regularly has short plays and sketches performed on London stages. He joined Entertainment Daily as a freelancer and is now a senior writer. He enjoys writing about last night’s TV – specifically viewers’ reactions.

Ella Clarke – Freelance Writer

Ella Clarke caught the journalism bug after studying a Film Master’s degree at the University of Roehampton. As a freelance writer, she has gained experience across culture, entertainment, lifestyle and music. Ella has dived into various Entertainment topics, including the latest celebrities and royal dramas from Buckingham Palace.

Gabrielle Cracknell – Freelance Writer

Gabrielle Cracknell began writing about pop culture while still a student for The Tab. She is a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing and hasn’t missed a single episode of the BBC series. Gabrielle also writes poetry and fiction and her work has featured in several journals. After catching the journalism bug writing for The Tab while at university, Gabrielle joined Entertainment Daily, writing about all things Showbiz and TV, fresh from graduating in 2022.

Joel Harley – Freelance Soap Writer

Joel Harley is a professional writer, film critic and soap lover of over 20 years. When not waxing lyrical about Dingles, Battersbys and Mitchells, he can be found writing for Total Film, Starburst and Rue Morgue Magazine. He particularly enjoys seeing his soap faves pop up in Hollywood (EastEnders’ Trevor Morgan in The Batman, anyone?) and would especially recommend the low-budget horror films of Dominic Brunt.

Kerry Barrett – Freelance Soap Writer

Kerry Barrett been a journalist for more than two decades, starting on a local newspaper before moving to magazines and then online. She spent 10 years as Features Editor on All About Soap and is now freelance, writing for websites including What To Watch, as well as Entertainment Daily. She’s interviewed hundreds of soap stars, visited the cobbles of Coronation Street, pulled a pint in the Woolpack in Emmerdale, and posed for photos beside the Albert Square sign on the EastEnders set. Kerry is also a novelist, writing for Harper Collins and Orion.
