It has been reported that Duchess of Sussex is in ‘crisis talks’ about how to deal with her father Thomas, after he publicly begged the Queen to rectify their fall out.
Thomas, who has become estranged from Meghan and has continued to speak out about her since she became engaged to Prince Harry, gave an interview on Good Morning Britain on 17 December from his home in San Diego.
The 74-year-old said of her Majesty: “I would appreciate anything she could do. I would think she would want to resolve family problems.
He added: “All families, royal or otherwise, are the same and they should all be together – certainly around the holidays.”
Palace officials are now said to be “exhausted” by Thomas constantly speaking out about Meghan, according to The Mirror, and they believe he has gone too far by trying to involve the Queen.
It should be a happy time for the Duchess of Sussex, who is pregnant with her and Harry’s first child.
The 37-year-old actress, who married 34-year-old Harry in May, is due in the Spring next year.

A palace source told The Mirror: “The Queen is a dignified woman.
“Even if she disagreed with the way her grandson’s wife or indeed her staff were dealing with the matter, she would certainly not become involved on this level.”
Former lighting director Thomas added that he has been trying to text Meghan every day and has also written her a letter. He claims he has had no response.

He added during the interview: “I’ve been trying to reach out to her for several weeks.
“Every day I try to text her. I just haven’t received any comment back. I just keep asking her to respond back to me. I haven’t got any response back. I’ve sent a letter as well.”
Meghan is expected to be spending the Christmas period with Harry and her mum Doria Ragland, who is believed to be flying in from the US for the holidays.
