Two apparently became one back in the nineties, when two of the Spice Girls got VERY close.
Speaking in a new interview, Mel B has claimed she and bandmate Geri Horner had sex, admitting: “Her husband will kill me.”
Mel – who is openly bisexual – was talking to presenter Piers Morgan for his show Life Stories when she made the revelation.
Piers asked her: “There were rumours you and Geri were more than just good friends. You had a little dabble? Anything you want to share with the group?”
The 43-year-old – who split from her husband Stephen Belafonte in 2017 – apparently hedged before admitting: “She had great boobs.”
When pushed further she admitted they’d had sex, saying: “She’s going to hate me for this because she’s all posh in her country house and her husband. But it’s a fact. It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it.
“We were best friends. It just happened.”
She added: “It just happens one time, you talk about it and it doesn’t really happen again.
“I’ve said it now. All done. She’s going to kill me and so’s her husband.”
In the filming, Mel also said: “Hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it, because it was just a thing, a fun thing.”
Her bandmate Melanie Chisholm – known as Mel C – was in the audience as the ITV show was recorded. When pressed by Morgan, she said: “This is all new to me.”
Geri, 46, who is currently appearing on BBC talent show All Together Now, is now a mum-of-two and is married to Formula One star Christian Horner.
And The Sun is now claiming the admission could put their forthcoming Spice Girls reunion tour in jeopardy.
The insider reportedly said: “The girls all know Mel struggles to keep her mouth shut but Mel C, who was in the audience, was visibly horrified when it all came out. The tour is just two months away, they don’t want anything jeopardising it, but there were real fears this would upset Geri’s husband and cause serious issues.”
The source continued: “Since marrying Christian, Geri has worked hard to shake off her old playgirl image and sort of reinvent herself as this perfect Stepford Wife. Mel immediately rang Geri to try to repair the damage.”

After the story broke, Piers took to Twitter to thank Mel, writing: “My new Life Stories series making spicy front page news, weeks before it even starts airing. This was an interview… thanks @OfficialMelB.”
Fans rushed to comment on the fling, with one writing: “Doesn’t surprise me… only hope Geri’s husband knew about this before.”
A second joked: “So it turns out Mel B zigga zigged Ginger Spice.” A third wrote: “Is Geri aware their ‘secret’ is splashed all over the front page…?”
