That wet and windy weather we have been warning you about is on its way this evening, the Met Office has confirmed.
Yellow warnings for heavy rain and strong winds are in place between 6pm tonight and 9am Wednesday morning across parts of the country.
South Wales and south-west England will bear the brunt of it during this period.
The adverse conditions could cause disruption to transport and create difficult driving conditions.
About one inch is expected between these times, with twice that across high ground.
The Met Office explained: “Rain will affect much of south Wales and south-west England from late Tuesday afternoon, overnight into Wednesday morning before clearing.
“20-30 mm of rain is likely to fall quite widely whilst over the higher ground of south Wales and southwest England, such as the Brecon Beacons and Dartmoor 40-50 mm is expected, with most exposed sites perhaps seeing 60 mm.
“Strong winds are also expected perhaps enhancing impacts in places.”
Forecasters have warned of a risk of flooding for homes and public places in Devon and Cornwall, and south Wales.
This follows the hammering that Storm Freya, with its torrential rain and 80mph winds inflicted on parts of the UK over the weekend.
The severe weather comes in the wake of Storm Freya, which battered the UK with torrential rain and powerful winds reaching 80mph over the weekend.
Snow is still threatening to bother northern England and Scotland on higher ground.
That warm spell towards the end of last month feels like a dream now!
