The Met Office has issued a weather AND flood warning in preparation for hail, severe rain and gale force winds that are heading our way.
Storm Miguel will be hitting the UK tomorrow (June 7) and experts have told us that the unsettled weather will include strong winds, heavy rain and, on a positive note, lots of water for the garden!

BBC weather tells us that “this time tomorrow it’ll be raining heavily across parts of southern Britain. We’re also in for a very blowy start to the weekend with coastal gales!”
The Met Office, who have issued a yellow warning for rain, have explained that “heavy showers may cause some travel disruption”.
A yellow warning means some “flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely, bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer, spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer and some interruption to power supplies and other services likely”.

Meteorologists have warned that after Thursday’s scattering of heavy showers across Wales, western and northern England and Northern Ireland today, heavy rain and thunder will follow tomorrow.
Forecasters have also warned of gale force winds and frost as the remnants of Storm Miguel sweep in from Spain on Saturday.
Met Office forecaster Richard Miles told The Sun Online that the unsettled weather over the next few days and over the weekend will include “thundery showers and hail over the southern parts, south and south east England”.

He added: “Everywhere will have the chance of showers and more persistent rain, moving north overnight tonight.
“A lot of that will be quite heavy in places.”
On Saturday, there’ll be gale force gusts and it will feel much colder, thanks to Spain’s Storm Miguel who won’t be classified here but will make his mark uninvited!
In fact, two inches of rain is set to fall, with temperatures dropping as low as 3C in some places.
It stays very unsettled over the next few days!
Welcome rain for some but rather horrible if you prefer it dry. #StormMiguel (named by the Spanish Met Service) moves in tomorrow… 💦💦 pic.twitter.com/8SUQx6K4GX
