We’re missing our weekly dose of Michelle Keegan on Our Girl more than words, but we’ll get to spend a little time in her company courtesy of an appearance on tomorrow night’s Jonathan Ross Show.
The former Corrie star joins comedian John Bishop, Hollywood A-lister Michael Douglas and Celebrity Juice master Keith Lemon. A raucous line-up, if ever there was!
During the interview, which was filmed earlier this week, the stunning actress revealed how being in such a high-profile relationship – with husband Mark Wright – has sometimes been a strain.
Speaking about her role as Bobby Moore’s wife Tina in upcoming ITV drama Tina and Bobby, the 29-year-old admitted: “I could relate to the story and the reason why Tina found it hard.
“I met [Tina] at the read-through and she came on set too for a day… Don’t get me wrong, it’s very intimidating because you want to do it well for them, and you want to do the story justice.
“But she was lovely – she’s so warm and welcoming, she was a really nice lady.”
Michelle, who wed presenter Mark in 2015, revealed a few romantic secrets about her beau’s proposal.
She said: “It was all planned, it was when we were in Dubai, when we were on holiday and it was four days into the holiday so I had no idea, and he did it on the beach – and there was a table set out with a waiter and candles.”
Michelle explained how Mark had carefully remembered a conversation about her perfect proposal when they first began dating.
She told JR: “When we first started speaking actually, I did say that one day I’d like to get proposed to in a white dress and all that, the fairy tale, and he told me a story that on the beach there was going to be a white party so I got a white dress.
“Didn’t think anything of it because it was two years down the line but he had it all planned out so I wore the white dress, I was on the beach, it was very romantic.”
Awww. These two are the ultimate relationship goals.
Mancunian lass Michelle then revealed a slightly embarrassing tale about her sexy scenes in Our Girl, when asked if it was ever awkward for her nearest and dearest.
The brunette beauty said: “Not so much my partner but… I’m going to be honest, my dad.
“He came to the screening with my mum and I was sat on the other side with the cast, and I remember my brother was sat between my mum and my dad, and I remember the scene coming on and I couldn’t look in that direction once, I couldn’t do it.”
The down-to-earth celeb added: “And we haven’t even spoken about it since.
“I just can’t bring it up to him. He totally understands it’s acting.”
We enjoyed those scenes, have NO fear!
