Michelle Keegan has batted away those rumours that her marriage to Mark Wright is on the rocks and we’re sure she’s being totally honest with us.
She has repeatedly explained that the couple had to spend much of the past year apart because of work commitments.
Now, chatting to Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold, the normally private former Corrie star has offered some insights into their relationship.
The actress explained that she was pleased to have finished filming Our Girl in South Africa and to be back in the arms of her man.
“It’s back to normality now,” she said. “I’m back home and we’ve just been eating lots of takeaways in front of the telly. We just do normal things really.”
Eating lots of takeaways? Normal things? Come off it! Is that why you both have figures the rest of us mere mortals would kill for? If pie and chips paved the way to toned bottoms, Hull High Street would be like a Dolce & Gabbana catwalk!
Still, so long as the gorgeous pair are still loved up, we’re happy for them.

All that said, Michelle isn’t likely to regret being absent for so much of her first year married to Mark. Her performance as Lance Corporal Georgie Lane in Our Girl has been applauded by critics.
And proud hubby Mark has been super-cute about it.
Tweeting about his wife’s talent, Mark recently chirruped: “She astounds me more every day. A truly sensational performance!”
The second episode of the BBC drama went out this week, and we love how the newlyweds are enjoying the success of the drama.
Michelle reveals: “Afterwards myself, Mark and some of the lads from the cast all hit one of our favourite London nightspots – Mahiki, and enjoyed a few of their cocktails which was a perfect celebratory ending to the day!”
Yep. Just a normal couple. Er, all my mates would be definitely more a pint in the local.
