They both like to keep in shape but Michelle Keegan has revealed she doesn’t do joint workouts with husband Mark Wright.
Not only because they’re currently living on opposite sides of the Atlantic, but because the Our Girl actress said they have different preferences when it comes to exercise.
Asked if she and Mark work out together by Mark Heyes on Thursday’s Lorraine, Michelle said: “No, separate, oh God, yeah.
“Don’t get me wrong, we go to the gym sometimes together, but I will do my thing and he will do his thing.
“I took him into a yoga class when I was in LA once – he walked out halfway through. He didn’t like it, not for him at all.”
Michelle, 30, admitted she doesn’t “enjoy” going to the gym but she finds it a good way to “de-stress”.
She said she tends to go more often when she’s visiting Mark at his home in LA, where he’s currently living as he works as an entertainment reporter for Extra.
“I love the healthy lifestyle out there, it forces me to get to the gym, even though I don’t want to,” she said of the Californian way of life.
But she added she doesn’t want to move to the States permanently.
“I like it, but I like coming home,” she said.

Speaking about what else she and Mark get up to in LA, the former Corrie star said: “We mix it up. Sometimes we just chill out, put our PJs on, get a takeaway. Or we go on a date night – we go for a meal, to the cinema. We just doing normal things really.”
Not so normal was their date night at the Oscars in February after Mark scored an invite thanks to his new job.
“We were pinching ourselves. We were nicking the napkins, putting them in our bags. And there was a free bar, so my dad was enjoying that. We had such a great time,” Michelle said.
She’ll celebrate her third wedding anniversary with the former TOWIE star this May, and even though they are currently living apart, Mark, 31, recently told Lorraine they fly to see one another whenever they can.
Michelle has also said they speak on the phone every day, and have a rule to never go more than three weeks without seeing one another.
She said she would consider spending more time in LA if the right role came along, but she’s busy in the UK now promoting her new fashion range for Very.
Asked if there’s anything else she’d like to try her hand at in the future, Michelle said: “I would love to try the stage, it’s something that I’ve never done. The thought of going out on a stage right now is terrifying. But I would like to challenge myself. I’d also love to do a film.”
She also recently told Daily Mail’s You magazine she’d like to start a family in the future.
“I do want kids. Mark wants kids. We are in complete agreement on that. It’s just not the right time,” she said.

In a separate interview with Star magazine, she echoed these words, stating: “I definitely want kids in the future. But nothing is planned yet.”
