Michelle Keegan is about to spend months apart from her husband Mark Wright, but she’s excited about what the future holds.
The former Corrie star is back filming the role of Georgie Lane in Our Girl. She underwent Army training in the UK before flying out to South Africa to start filming.
Michelle is excited to be back with her colleagues, and shared a pic of them being reunited.
“Most of the boys are back from last year,” she wrote on her HELLO! blog. “We have already established that bond so when we all met up for the training it was great and like we had never been apart!”
She also shared an Instagram picture of a new script. “She’s back!!!” she wrote. “Read-through today for the next series of Our Girl #georgielane #exciting #letsgo.”

The actress, who shares a house in Essex with Mark, was reportedly moving into a flat in Cape Town for the duration of filming.
“I can’t believe I will be away for a whole three months,” she added. “Fortunately I will be back for a bit to attend a couple of important dos in the summer, but then I will be off again for more filming with the series.”
Michelle loved filming the last series, in which she plays an army medic.
“I was working six days a week, in every single scene, so I had no time to miss home,” she said.
“It was one of those experiences where you look back and think, ‘What an experience of a lifetime.’ I loved every minute.”
EastEnders actress Lacey Turner previously starred in the drama.

There’s a downside to filming overseas, however, as Michelle will be away on their second wedding anniversary on 24 Mary.
Mark has said that he’ll try to fly over to join her, and will visit as often as he can.
