EastEnders: Stuart Highway not a paedophile, helps Mick Carter hunt predators

Walford's very own Batman and Robin...

…EastEnders fans were relieved to discover that Stuart Highway isn’t a paedophile at all – but not half as pleased as his best mate Mick Carter.

During last night’s episode of the BBC soap (Thursday 14 June), Stuart explained the REAL reason he had pictures of underage girls on his mobile.

He told a shocked Mick that he tracks down groomers and paedophiles and confronts them with evidence of their criminality…

Earlier this week, Mick had been horrified when he discovered Stuart had photos of young girls on his phone.

Jumping to the conclusion that his old mate was a sexual predator, Mick wrestled with his conscience before doing the right thing and reporting him to the police…

However, Stuart has now revealed he’s a lone crusader, attempting to expose paedophiles and prevent them from hurting children.

During a showdown in the Queen Vic, Stuart revealed he sets up fake profiles of girls online in order to expose and then hunt sexual predators.

When Mick wasn’t convinced, Halfway was called to confirm Stuart’s story.

Mick is now set to be drawn into Stuart’s dangerous plans as upcoming scenes show him asking for Mick’s help to confront his targets.

But fans are still suspicious of Stuart and were demanding to know the answer to one question…

Just why is Mick so loyal to Stuart?

One Twitter user wrote: “Really want to know what Stuart has over Mick????”

Another asked: “What has Stuart got on Mick?”

A third blasted: “[Bleep] off stuart you’re not welcome leave mick and the family alone.”

One pondered: “His brother’s covering for him as Stuart has a lot on him. Tends to think he can bully him all the time I guess.”

Oh dear, Stuart is STILL not very popular with EastEnders fans – even now they know he’s fighting crime!

But will Stuart convince Mick to join him on his crusades into the dark underbelly of the paedophile world?
