More potential heartache for the Rooneys after Laura Simpson loses her phone

She's warned it could be "game over" if it's not found

Laura Simpson, the woman at the centre of Wayne Rooney’s drink-drive scandal, has tweeted she’s lost her phone and hinted it could contain secrets about her evening with Wayne and other footballers.

The 29-year-old told her followers that her phone has gone missing and apparently the keypad was unlocked.

Simpson also said it will be “game over” if the phone is definitely lost – hinting there could be some damaging information on there.

She wrote: “Cant find my phone… took the keypad off it too ffs… game over if it’s lost.”

It’s believed Laura lost her phone while eating out at Rio Ferdinand’s restaurant Rosso

But she was later pictured apparently leaving the restaurant still holding her phone.

Laura was the girl who was with Wayne, 31, when he was stopped by police while drink-driving –  a charge he has since pleaded guilty to.

Laura and Wayne met on a night out in Cheshire earlier this month.

The footballer then drove Laura’s VW Beetle in the early hours of the morning after a 10-hour booze session, when police pulled him over because of a broken brake light.

Shortly after Laura claimed she and Wayne had kissed and hugged during the night out.

Wayne’s pregnant wife Coleen was on holiday with the couple’s three young sons at the time, but reportedly flew home after news of the charges against her husband broke.

Laura told MailOnline: “I got to the bar around 10pm. He introduced himself with his mate and we sat down and had a talk and had a laugh.

“He kept admiring my boobs in my clingy top and asking what size they were.

“He asked if they were real and said, ‘I’d like to get my hands on them’. I laughed, he was being flirty and I didn’t tell him my boobs are fake.

“It’s not every night you meet a famous footballer and it wasn’t that I was star-struck, I just liked talking to him.

“Yes he’s a bit of a lad, and I was drunk but I was doing nothing wrong. I’m not a marriage wrecker.”

Laura then told The Sun that Coleen had confronted her over the phone shortly after her husband’s arrest.

Laura said: “She asked me to tell her what happened.

“She seemed unhappy with the fact that we had left a nightclub in a cab together to go to my car.

“She did say both of us were at fault for getting in the taxi and that we shouldn’t have done that.”

“I told her the truth, that it wasn’t and that we had left in a cab together to get my car which was parked outside a friend’s.

“I apologised to her and she said, ‘You have nothing to say sorry for’.”

Earlier this month Laura also appeared on ITV’s This Morning to give her side of the story.

This time she claimed nothing happened with Rooney, but went on to say that, were she Coleen, she wouldn’t be forgiving him.

Reports said Coleen was left “furious” with Wayne and she apparently branded Laura a “fame-seeking slapper”.

The Sun reports a source as saying: “Coleen has been furious at Wayne.

“But the more she learns, the more sympathetic she is to Wayne’s version of events.

“She labelled Laura a ‘fame-seeking slapper’.

“She still thinks Wayne was in the wrong — but for the first time it seems he has some light at the end of the tunnel.”

Ever since the reports emerged a number of sources have claimed Wayne and Coleen’s marriage continues to be on the rocks with both being spotted without their wedding rings.

Everton player Wayne was also sentenced to a two-year driving ban, a 12-month community order and 100 hours of unpaid charity work by Stockport Magistrates Court.
