Mrs Hinch has suffered a health scare just three weeks after giving birth to her baby boy. The cleaning influencer shared an update about her condition from her hospital bed.
The 35-year-old star, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, welcomed her third son in February. Her little bundle of joy is named Vinnie Alan Barker.
Sadly, Sophie has revealed she’s had to undergo an emergency operation this week, and has now updated fans on how she’s doing.

Mrs Hinch shares scary health update
Earlier today (March 14), Sophie posted a couple of videos of herself on Instagram, taken in the hospital. She revealed she had emergency surgery to remove a blood clot.
The influencer ran into a couple of her followers in the hospital, which prompted her to issue a health update on social media.
Sophie explained: “I’m not really sure where to start with this week guys. I’ve actually bumped into quite a few followers in hospital. So I just thought I’d update you a bit because I share a lot with you here.”
I cannot wait to just pick up Vinnie – that newborn smell. I swear I’m getting withdrawal symptoms from him.
Sophie continued: “The good, the bad and the ugly. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I had a blood clot in my groin/pelvis/leg area. I haven’t had one since 2018 and then another one decides to hit me three weeks postpartum. What a 12 months it’s been.”

She then detailed the procedure to remove the blood clot: “They managed to go in through my leg. They didn’t go through my neck in the end. They hoovered out the blood clot and they hoovered my stents out.”
“They’ve literally hoovered me which is ironic, isn’t it?” the cleaning superstar said. “I think I’ve still got quite a lot of painkillers or anaesthetic in my system so I’m probably not making sense.”

She can’t wait to go home
Sophie, who shares sons Ronnie, five, Lennie, three, and newborn Vinnie with husband Jamie, is waiting to be reunited with her little family.
“I cannot wait to just pick up Vinnie – that newborn smell. I swear I’m getting withdrawal symptoms from him,” she confessed.
“Hurry up tomorrow,” she added, “when I’ll be back home”. She then concluded: “Just a reminder… ALWAYS trust your gut. You know your own body.”

The influencer revealed that her condition wasn’t caught on a CT scan at first. She returned home to see her leg get “bigger and bigger”. Upon consulting a different doctor, she learned that she needed to be operated on to remove the “big blood clot”.
“Just trust your gut guys. Trust your bloody gut. Anyway over and out from me and blood clot. I can’t wait to wake up in the morning and get home,” she concluded.
