The mum-of-two who suffered broken bones in a car crash with Prince Philip last week claims she is still waiting for an apology.
The smash saw the 97-year-old Duke of Edinburgh’s 4×4 Land Rover Freelander flipped onto its side after reportedly pulling out on another vehicle.
Emma Fairweather, 46, who was in the other car and broke her wrist, has revealed that the incident left her “upset and overwhelmed”.
And she said she still hasn’t received an apology from the Queen’s husband or heard from Buckingham Palace – despite an official statement that said “well wishes” had been exchanged privately.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Emma explained: “I’m lucky to be alive and he hasn’t even said sorry. It has been such a traumatic and painful time and I would have expected more of the Royal Family.
“It could have been so much worse. Prince Philip apparently said to a witness that it was the sun that dazzled him but I can’t see how that could be true when it was overcast.”
Emma added that she understands the Queen is a “busy lady,” but she was hoping Her Majesty would “phone her” after the incident.
The Duke passed an eyesight test on Saturday morning, undertaken as part of an ongoing investigation into the crash.
Emma has called for him to be prosecuted if he is found at fault, and as reported by the Evening Standard, Police have promised to take “any appropriate action” necessary.
The Duke reportedly pulled out of a side road near the Queen’s country house in Sandringham, Norfolk, hitting a Kia belonging to Emma’s friend as it travelled along an A road.
Also in the Kia was her pal’s nine-month-old baby, who escaped without serious injury.
In the Sunday Mirror interview, Emma described the moment she found out the identity of the other vehicle’s driver.
She explained that following the crash, an onlooker came over and told her that the man in the Land Rover was Prince Philip, adding she “was shocked” and felt “so upset and overwhelmed”.
Emma’s friend is believed to have received cuts to her knee, while Philip was pulled from the overturned Land Rover and was able to walk away without any serious injuries – although the Palace has confirmed he went to hospital.
What’s more, witnesses have said the Duke was visibly “shocked and shaken”.
Emma said that onlookers told her Philip, who claimed to have been dazzled by the sun, was advised not to apologise at the scene.

Since the crash, it has emerged that a new Land Rover was delivered to the Royals at Sandringham.
And on Saturday, Philip was snapped behind the wheel of a new car – apparently without his seatbelt on.
